We are ENIT. And if we have one thing, it's energy.
Energy that shows the industry how to recognize, understand and save CO2 emissions. Energy that unites and drives us as a young company. And that keeps us fighting every day for a cleaner, better world and an emission-free environment.
It is in our nature to share our knowledge:
Our origins lie in the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) and with it a wealth of expertise that gives us the courage to tackle big ideas in an adept and targeted manner. As a partner for renewable energies, we not only promote an understanding of energy management, but are also in the thick of things when it comes to implementation.
Our individual services and products enable industrial companies of all sizes to take responsibility for the environment and grow sustainably with it.
For a planet that breathes easy - and a competitive advantage that pays off in the long term.
Our founders of ENIT literally met in the laboratory. Scientific research at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (Fraunhofer ISE) ultimately gave rise to our powerful idea: to develop an innovative monitoring and control system tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Our founders Pascal Benoit, Simon Fey and Hendrik Klosterkemper brought this idea to market maturity and founded ENIT in 2014 - with the expertise of Fraunhofer ISE. Kai Klapdor from Becker Büttner Held joined the team at the beginning of 2015. In 2020, Hendrik, Simon and in 2023 Kai left the operational business for personal reasons.
In recent years, we at ENIT have been able to create the trust and the necessary corporate insights to go even further by working in partnership with our industrial customers: the next steps towards the decarbonization of the industry. Through partnerships with PV project planners, green electricity suppliers and battery storage providers, we are growing together with our customers.
Our team currently consists of around 40 employees and is mainly based in sunny Freiburg.
At ENIT, we have already received numerous awards for our sustainable approach and technology. In addition to several federal ministries and the state of Baden-Württemberg, we have also been supported by the EU for years.
