The Enit agent is our data acquisition and integration component for energy monitoring: it collects measurement data (e.g. electricity, gas, water, heat, compressed air if applicable), brings it from the field and meter world into a standardized data structure and makes it usable for monitoring, KPI, reports and automation.
Typical tasks (practical):
Connection of meters/submeters (e.g. Modbus TCP/RTU, M-Bus - depending on project setup)
Time series preparation (intervals, units, scaling, measuring point logic)
Data transfer to the Enit platform (dashboards, alarms, benchmarks, ISO 50001-compliant verifications)
Bridge to IT systems (e.g. ERP/MES/BI via interfaces - depending on what is planned in the project)
